Rough Idea for Discussion

Based on the reading What is Generative Art? by Galanter, I started thinking about how generative systems are not limited to the arts, but also exist in architectural design. One idea that came to mind is parametric design, where architects use algorithms to turn design rules into flexible structures. It feels like a practical application of generative thinking.

Then I thought about digital twins, which are usually seen in industrial or engineering fields. Even though they seem far from art, they’re also system-based and have started moving towards modular public displays—which gives users the freedom to engage with and even aestheticize them. This shift from B2B to C-side interaction reminded me that generative principles can appear in unexpected places, blurring the line between data-driven function and creative experience.
